Bio

Aaron Rose is a fine artist, writer, director, and musician with a keen eye for unexpected and moving visuals. Often shot on film, Rose’s work gravitates toward a stylistic realism, with multimedia elements. His short form credits include projects for Levi’s, Commes des Garçons, MOCAtv, COS, Nasty Gal, and RVCA, among others.

An independent curator of contemporary art for more than three decades, Rose has produced exhibitions for galleries and museums worldwide, including street art retrospective “Art in the Streets” and “Beautiful Losers,” which highlighted artists that popularized 1990s DIY street art. He also co-directed a feature length documentary inspired by the exhibits; it debuted at the 2008 SXSW Film Festival.

His corporate project portfolio includes touring events for Nike, Levi’s, Virgin Mobile, and Motorola, among others. In addition to commercial directing and art curation, Rose exhibits his own creations in high profile galleries, develops film ideas, produces corporate art/lifestyle projects, and edits for ANP Quarterly, an arts magazine published by apparel brand RVCA. Rose is currently shooting his first narrative feature film.
