BIOGRAPHY

Andy was born in a small rural town amongst the Appalachian Mountains. While studying design and interdisciplinary media in Baltimore, he obsessively experimented with narrative storytelling in his video, animation and interactive installation work.

After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked with directors Mike Mills, Roman Coppola and Geoff McFetridge on numerous film, video and animation projects. In 2006, Andy signed on to the roster at The Directors Bureau and has proved himself a creative and resourceful director with a refreshingly
singular voice.

He has since collaborated with legendary musicians Will Oldham and Stephen Malkmus as well as rising artists No Age, St. Vincent and Bat for Lashes.  In October of 2006, Andy was featured by Boards Magazine in their annual Directors To Watch issue. His work has reached an international audience, screening at prominent film festivals around the globe and receiving accolades from MTV, MTVu, and the Plug Independent Music Awards.
